On January 15, the art literature department held a creative hour “Tuma talent tabigata”, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Kazakh fine arts, graphic artist, Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR A. Kasteev.
The purpose of the event: to popularize the life and work of A. Kasteev, the founder of the fine arts of Kazakhstan, the pride of Kazakhstan and the preservation of his work for subsequent generations, the formation of spiritual and material values of the Kazakh people through art, and increased creative potential.

On November 9, a song evening was held dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the poet, singer, composer Sary Batakula on the theme “Balasy men Bataktyn, atym - Sary...”.
Sary Batakuly was born in 1863 in the Shalkar district of the Aktobe region. Through his songs, he exposes the injustice and tyranny of his time. Songs such as “Kyz Kosan”, “Tileu-Kabak”, “Dariga”, “Aridau”, “Dunie”, “Song of Sarin when she was driven to Siberia”, “Motherland” excite the human soul and sharpen his imagination. “Saryna’s Song” was used in the first sound feature film in the history of Kazakhstan, “Amankeldi” in 1938.
