A regional readers’ conference titled “Leader of the World of Music” was held in the Aktobe Region, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Akhmet Zhubanov — the founder of Kazakh professional musical art, an outstanding composer and conductor, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, and academician.
The aim of the event was to promote national music and increase the younger generation’s interest in the arts.
During the conference, several presentations were delivered on the legacy of Akhmet Zhubanov and his significant contribution to national culture.
As part of the conference, well-known works by Akhmet Zhubanov — “Koktem,” “Tajikbi 1,” “Tajikbi 5,” and “Bi kui” — were performed. These compositions represent a valuable contribution to the spiritual world of Kazakh music.
A book exhibition titled “Guardian of National Art” was organized. The exhibition featured materials dedicated to the life and creative work of Akhmet Zhubanov. Participants of the conference included cultural workers, students of the Aktobe Music College named after Akhmet Zhubanov and the Aktobe Higher Humanitarian College, as well as representatives of the media.
